Inappropriate remarks, violent gestures… near Toulouse, a CP teacher targeted by 9 complaints for violence against her students

Parents have testified to La Dépêche about the teacher's inappropriate behavior. An investigation into “violence against minors under 15” is underway.

Screaming at children, being forbidden to go to the toilet, inappropriate words, violent gestures… a teacher in the Toulouse region is the subject of 9 complaints from parents of students, reveals La Dépêche du Midi, which reports inappropriate behavior by the teacher towards her students.

The events took place during the 2023-2024 school year, at the Barry primary school in Muret. The parents filed a complaint this summer. An investigation into “violence against minors under 15” is underway.

Still according to La Dépêche, the teacher is currently providing replacements in Haute-Garonne.

Questioned by BFMTV on September 13, the rector of the Toulouse academy, Mostafa Fourar, stated that he was “extremely attentive to the well-being of students, but also to the respect due to teachers”.

And “if the ongoing investigation revealed a failing in this teacher's behavior, he would take all the necessary consequences”.

“We've had a horrible year”

“We've had a horrible year. There wasn't a night when he didn't burst into tears", testifies the father of a child in the class of the accused teacher last year.

"In our country, we bleed pigs, we eat them and if you keep doing that, I'll bleed you", the teacher allegedly told a student who was imitating the pig's cry, reports La Dépêche.

This week, it was a teacher at the nursery school in Frères-Voisins, in Paris, which hit the headlines after being filmed hitting a 3-year-old child. The parents filed a complaint. A preliminary investigation is underway.
