And this line failed, with only 50 votes against the inclusion of abortion in the Constitution. And France will be the first country in the world to do so".

What Senator Les Républicains du Gard Laurent Burgoa also appreciated: "More than half of the LR senators voted for. I was in favor of it, there was a message to send to our country on this subject. It’s a good thing and I’m happy to have contributed to it. Because our party must also know how to evolve on societal issues".
