Adjointe aux finances, elle met en avant la stabilité des taux municipaux, qui n'ont pas été augmentés depuis seize ans.
Whether or not you have opted for monthly payments, it will not have escaped anyone's notice that property tax has undergone a new increase at the end of the year. An increase that Clémence Raphanel, deputy finance officer for the city of Agde, commented on in a press release, insisting that “for the sixteenth consecutive year, the municipality of Agde has not increased the property tax rate that it is responsible for setting.” She added: “however, when reading your tax return, you will see an increase in your levy, which is the result of a decision by the State. This in fact sets each year the tax bases on which the rates are applied, based on the evolution of inflation. Since inflation has been significant in recent years, this has led to an increase in the bases and therefore in the levy. But I emphasize again, only the State is responsible for this increase."
