He presents himself under the pseudonym Mr Prada, on the social network TikTok, where he has accumulated more than 4 million subscribers. The influencer Terryon Ishmael Thomas was incarcerated in Dallas, after the discovery of the body of a therapist.

He is suspected of the murder of a former priest turned therapist, found dead in a ditch in Louisiana. At just 20 years old, and with 4 million subscribers on the social network TikTok, “Mr Prada” has been imprisoned, indicate American media, notably cited by Le Figaro.

The lifeless body of Nick Abraham, a 69-year-old therapist, was discovered at the side of the highway, covered with a tarp, near Baton Rouge in Louisiana. Fox 8 reported a death that was “very physical and very violent” , a local sheriff said.

Shortly after, the therapist's stolen vehicle was spotted and police posted a photo on social media showing the wanted individual. It didn't take long for internet users to recognize the TikTok star. Finally, two days later, Mr. Prada surrendered in Dallas and was incarcerated.

DNA Match

While the links between the influencer and the therapist have not yet been established, “numerous posts on TikTok and X, some of which have garnered millions of views, have speculated about Thomas and Abraham's relationship”, NBC News reports. These posts falsely claim that the influencer was involved in the therapist's arrest, accused in 2015 of making inappropriate gestures toward a child 11 years old.

The local Baton Rouge station reports that the day before his arrest, investigators found several sharp objects, weapons, and a lot of blood at the influencer's home. “We have a DNA match to the suspect's apartment for the victim, we believe that may be where the crime took place,” the local sheriff said.

According to the sheriff, “there is no evidence to suggest that Thomas was a client of Abraham's,” and the suspect's motives are still under investigation.
