Maeva Ghennam, an influencer from reality TV, seems to have been inspired by the ascent of Everest, featured in the hit documentary Kaizen, directed by YouTuber Inoxtag. She now claims to want to climb Mont Blanc.
Inoxtag, the YouTuber who climbed Everest and documented his preparation and ascent in the documentary Kaizen, has inspired millions of people. Even celebrities who are apparently very, very far removed from the world of mountains and outdoor sports.
Influencer Maeva Ghennam, known to the general public after her participation in the reality TV show Les Marseillais, has expressed her desire to reproduce an experience similar to that of Inoxtag. Although she quickly changed her mind about the temptation to climb the roof of the world, she did set her sights on the roof of Europe.
“I don't interest mountaineers”
With its 4,806 meters, Mont Blanc makes the young woman want to go.“”At my level, it will take a lot of training and I wouldn't be able to cut off social networks for a year like Inoxtag. I'm addicted to you. I'm addicted to networks. But, maybe Mont Blanc is possible!", she says in a story, quoted by Le Dauphiné Libéré.
In a video posted on September 20, she explains that she has not received any response, despite her appeal to her community to help her find a guide who would allow her to climb the highest Alpine peak. “Since I have been on the networks, this is the first time that I have made an announcement and that I have not received a response. I'm not interested in mountaineers”.
A twist this Tuesday, September 24, the influencer, affirms “in flesh and in plastic” that she will climb Mont Blanc with the guide Mathis Dumas, who is none other than the Inoxtag guide for Everest.

Mathis Dumas denies any climb with Maeva Ghennam. Instagram Capture @Mathis_dumas
New disappointment this Wednesday for Maeva Ghennam, the guide published a story on her Instagram account this Wednesday, September 25, to deny any plan to ;rsquo;climb with the influencer. As a reminder, the ascent of Mont Blanc, if it is one of the most practiced races in the French Alps, is no less dangerous.
And because of global warming, Europe's highest peak is likely to become increasingly difficult to climb. The summer of 2024 was also the deadliest in six years, with around ten deaths in the massif.
