Montreal Impact fans will have to mourn the Bojan with their favorite team.
At least that’s what the soccer expert from the TVA Sports network Vincent Destouches suggests.
Recall that the club of La Belle Province did not activate the option in the contract of the Spanish international for the 2021 campaign, because this would have guaranteed him the status of designated player and a big salary increase.
The Montreal eleven would still have made him a new offer, but Destouches believes that the association between Bojan and the Impact is now a thing of the past.
In a text, the journalist explains that the fact that the 30-year-old athlete left Quebec to return to his native country after the elimination of the club from the playoffs of Major League Soccer is not a good sign. On Monday, the Bleu-Blanc-Noir announced that Bojan would not be available for his clash against the Olimpia on December 15, as part of the CONCACAF Champions League.
Destouches affirms that if the player wished to extend his adventure with the Impact, he would have remained in the entourage of the team for this important duel. He also indicates that Bojan would have been insulted by the decision of the Montreal club not to activate the option in his contract.
