The Jakob Chychrun saga continued on Monday as head coach André Tourigny confirmed he will no longer play for the Arizona Coyotes. < /p>

Chychrun is in demand as the National Hockey League (NHL) trade deadline approaches. However, wishing to avoid any injury, the Coyotes decided to leave him aside on Saturday against the Blues in St. Louis. That will be the case again on Tuesday against the Predators in Nashville.

“[Chychrun] will stay out of the lineup until something happens,” the driver said. Quebec, according to comments reported by the Sportsnet network.

This decision is certainly not unrelated to the fact that Chychrun has struggled to avoid the infirmary since his debut in the NHL in 2016-2017. He has never played more than 68 games, and it was precisely in his first campaign.

This season, the 24-year-old Floridian has totaled seven goals and 28 points in 36 games, showing an excellent +8 differential with the club claiming the fifth-worst overall differential. In career, he totaled 60 goals and 170 points in 373 games.
