Goff was injured during the 16e week of NFL activity against Seattle and was unable to take part in the deciding game against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday.
It was pivot John Wolford who led the Rams to an 18-7 victory, securing them a place in the playoffs.
In 15 games this season, Goff had 20 touchdown passes and recorded 3,952 passing yards through the air.
