Jeanfi Janssens must repay a “colossal debt”: how the comedian was scammed by his ex-partner

Jeanfi Janssens revealed on RTL this Saturday March 2 that he had encountered serious financial difficulties following a scam on the part of his ex-partner. The comedian would have to repay a “colossal debt”.

Guest on the show We're doing TV again on RTL , this Saturday March 3, Jeanfi Janssens revealed that he had encountered major financial difficulties following a scam on the part of of her ex-companion.

A debt of 90,000 euros

On the airwaves, he said: "he is opening a company in my name, I am co-borrowing everything. C&#39 ;is an administrative sleight of hand, and three years later, it disappears with the cash register and I find myself with a colossal debt of 90,000 euros."

Following this betrayal, the 50-year-old French comedian was banned from banking and was the victim of a &quot ;scammer image". Thus, his villa was sold by candlelight and he found himself in a 10 m2 apartment. This misadventure led him to create his own company which "pays him the same salary every month".< /p>

"I learned from my mistakes"

Jeanfi Janssens fought to repay his debts and regain financial stability. "I learned from my mistakes. Today, I am more careful with money", he confided. He also stressed the importance of being surrounded by professionals as an artist, particularly when managing one's finances. "An artist doesn't know how to sell himself. You need someone who takes care of you, who is an interface. I have people who do that for me, and it's very good,, he concluded.
