Jessica Chastain and Katherine Levac look stunning on the red carpet SHARING Andrew McNally
MISE À DAY
SHARING
Several events last week fueled red carpets across the globe.
Voguekicked off London Fashion Week with a huge show and an ode to the theatricality of British culture; a host of stars supported the Kering Foundation benefit evening; the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) saw its share of stars; Tiffany & Co. opened a new store with great fanfare; and a spectacular look lit up the MTV Video Music Awards. In Montreal, we were also treated to a glamor eveningas TV personalities gathered for the Gemini Awards gala. A few of them pulled out all the stops and their looks were among the notable outfits of the week.
Jessica Chastain
The three-quarter pose taken by Jessica Chastain allows you to clearly appreciate the insertions of cool-toned diamonds along the side of this Armani Privé dress.
Tom Daley
Olympic diver Tom Daley went for an original silhouette at the Vogue World London party. Under his gray suit decorated with sequins, he had slipped an asymmetrical camisole, a Fendi look.
Sofia Carson
Accustomed to voluminous tulle dresses, Sofia Carson has taken another direction by falling for a creation of electric blue telescoped sequins by designer Alexandre Vauthier. The dress was embellished with a cape and matching thigh-high boots.
Katherine Levac
Comedian Katherine Levac opted for a chocolate sequined dress with simple lines from the brand 16Arlington.
Emilia Clarke
Emilia Clarke opted for a delicate creation from the Dior workshops which gives the impression that the dress is held around the edge of a bra.
Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman tried an approach that differed from her usual minimalist aesthetic as she chose a “jellyfish” dress sky blue by Balenciaga for the Kering Foundation evening helping abused women. jpg” alt=”Jessica Chastain and Katherine Levac look stunning on the red carpets ” />
Julia Garner
Actress Julia Garner tends towards surprising creations, like this crimson patent Gucci dress whose neckline is the birth of a bouquet of flowers.
Catherine Trudeau
The Norma Kamali label has revisited the shirt and long skirt combo. The volume of the sleeves, the high-waisted quilted skirt and the honey color are all elements that allowed actress Catherine Trudeau to rise among the beauties of the Gémeaux awards.
< h5>Anya Taylor-Joy
During the opening of the new Tiffany & Co. in Omotesando, Japan, Anya Taylor-Joy seemed to have chosen this Del Core dress because it paired perfectly with the cursive brand name. The sinuous peplum was reminiscent of a butterfly or an orchid flower. Magnificent!
Lou-Pascal Tremblay and Marina Bastarache
The most beautiful Gemini couple was that of Lou-Pascal Tremblay, sporting a slightly shiny double-breasted suit custom-made by Sartorialto, and Marina Bastarache who had slipped into a new purchase from the Ssense boutique, a Lado dress Bokuchava.
LOOK OF THE WEEK
Sienna Miller
We no longer announce our pregnancy subtly. Beyoncé and Rihanna set a new standard that Sienna Miller interpreted in turn. For the Vogue evening, the British actress appeared dressed in a gathered shirt and an ivory draped skirt by Schiaparelli which framed her stomach.
