Fans of Jhon Rachid are waiting since several weeks : this is it, the second short film by the video artist is available on his Youtube channel or on the platform the 3rd Stage of the Paris Opera ! In the interview for Purebreak, le youtubeur was assigned on this project, which he sees as “a visiting card” for the cinema. Interview.

A year and a half after “rainy Day”, Jhon Rachid unveiled this Wednesday, April 24, his second short film, “The Ghost”, available on his Youtube channel or on the platform the 3rd Stage of the Paris Opera. Made with Antoine Barillot, this film of 25 minutes, revisits the famous myth of the Phantom of the Opera in a manner that is totally shifted. Why this totally different subject ? How did the collaboration with 3rd stage ? Jhon Rachid responded to these questions in the interview for Purebreak, accompanied by actors Jonathan Chiche and Youssef Hajdi.

Jhon Rachid confides

Where “rainy Day” brought together many of the each other including Norman, Audrey Pirault, Kemar, Noman Hosni, or Raphael Liot, the cast of “The Phantom” does no star of the web, but only of the actors. Among them, Youssef Hajdi, Clementine Poidatz, Jean-Baptiste Maunier, revealed by the film, The Singers, Alexia Giordano, Jonathan Chiche, Vincent Desagnat, Fahmi Guerbaa, or even Virgil Elana.

“A business card for cinema”

A choice made by the videographer, who wants to put aside his cap of the “youtubeur” to assume that of the creator, and filmmaker. A way to express their ras-le-bol face of the fact that the range in a box : “youtubeur, this is the label that people put me. I’m not youtubeur me. I am an actor who did not work and went on Youtube to have a job”. His dream today : break into the cinema with his own films ! This is all the evil that he wishes to…
