Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston will 'swap bodies' in new comedy to premiere on Amazon
Amazon has hit the jackpot by adding the comedy starring two of Hollywood's most popular actresses to its slate of upcoming movies: Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston. < /p>
The as yet untitled comedy will be written and directed by Max Barbakow – the director of the Palm Springs film – and produced by Australian actress Margot Robbie's production company, LuckyChap Entertainment.
We still know very little about this film which will bring together the two actresses aged 55 (Julia Roberts) and 53 (Jennifer Aniston) for the first time on the big screen, other than it will be a Freaky-style comedy Friday (Being My Mother) in which the character of the teenage daughter (played by Lindsay Lohan) found herself in the body of her mother (Jamie Lee Curtis) and vice versa .
With the recent surprise hits of the films Ticket to Paradise starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts and The Lost City with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, there's every reason to believe there's a demand for this light-hearted comedy genre featuring well-known Hollywood comedy stars.
CAA (representing the two actresses) brokered the sale to Amazon.
