Junior Extra: competing and developing for the Saguenéens of Chicoutimi

UPGRADE DAY

For several weeks, the days have been alike for the Saguenéens. The race between Chicoutimi, Rimouski and Moncton for home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs will be set for the very end of the regular season. Before knowing the outcome of this battle, the “Sags” had a tough end to the season, as they faced the Océanic and the Quebec Remparts. Even though the Saguenéenne team is currently going through a crucial moment, head coach Yanick Jean keeps in mind the development of his young group. While the Bleuets are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with 68 points, Jean recognizes that his troop has made many eyes widen by surprising in the standings.
