Junior Extra: for the advantage of the ice
|; DAY
The Océanic ended a five-game losing streak with a fine 3-0 win on Sunday against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Thanks to this win, Serge Beausoleil's men regain third place in the Eastern Conference, one point ahead of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens and two ahead of the Moncton Wildcats, their next two opponents. This week's games will therefore be of paramount importance to ensure the advantage of the ice in the first round of the playoffs. This will be the case for the holders of the third and fourth position. The Océanic will need a wake-up call from their offense which has only scored nine goals in six games.

What They Said
< strong>“The guys bounced back nicely. I liked the way we played and Hamrla was smoking hot. We had good chances to score, but so did they. Our goalkeeper gave us a very good chance to win. »
– Serge Beausoleil after Sunday's 3-0 win
“We wanted to get back together today. Patrik did that very well. After the game, I told him that he had done very well on Friday in Sherbrooke, but that we had perhaps let him down a bit. We got together in a good way today. »
