Junior Extra: ranking tightens

BETTING À DAY

Despite two honest performances, the Océanic could not stop the winning streak of the Gatineau Olympiques, who left Rimouski with a 15th straight win last Sunday. This had the effect of tightening the fight for third place in the Eastern Conference, still occupied by the Océanic, but only one point ahead of the Saguenéens. With four straight wins, the Moncton Wildcats are within four points of the Océanic with one game in hand over Rimouski and two over the Sags. What caught the eye last week was the closure of the Sun Life Financial Coliseum due to the presence of asbestos.
