Junior Extra: the Rimouski Oceanic lacks consistency

Junior Extra: the Rimouski Oceanic lacks consistency

For the second week in a row, the Océanic lacked consistency, which prevented them from consolidating their hold on third place in the East. Rimouski and Chicoutimi are tied with 54 points. After a great shutout victory against the Cape Breton Eagles, Serge Beausoleil's squad lost 6-1 to the Mooseheads in Halifax on Sunday. Smoking on Friday, goaltender Patrik Hamrla was pulled from the game after allowing two goals on five shots. His successor, Gabriel Robert, was no better allowing three goals on seven shots.

What They Said

“On the first two goals, he was not in front of his net. This is the story of our season. We get a very good match, then it gets complicated. A goalkeeper has to keep the goal.

– Serge Beausoleil after Sunday's loss in Halifax.

“Les Patriotes have a very good organization. They have had great success in recent years and that is why I chose Trois-Rivières. »

– William Dumoulin who will join the Patriotes next year.
