Mardi 16 janvier, le site d'information Mediapart published a report on the Stanislas private school. Damning, he denounces homophobic and sexist behavior among others within the school. In this context, two senators and the SOS Homophobia association have decided to take legal action while the city of Paris has chosen to temporarily cut subsidies to the establishment.
The controversy surrounding the Stanislas school continues to swell. This private Catholic establishment in the 6th arrondissement of Paris has found itself in a media storm for several days. The new Minister of Education Amélie Oudéa-Castéra lit the fuse with her statements on unreplaced hours in public education which, according to her, motivated her decision to place her children in this private establishment.
Then, a report on the Stanislas school revealed by the investigative media Médiapart on Tuesday January 16 drove the point home. Inside, we learn in particular that Many homophobic and anti-abortion speeches would be made within the establishment: "Abortion always means voluntarily killing an innocent human person." or again "Sodomy brings AIDS, homosexuality is a sin, an illness which comes from the fact that mom cheated on dad" could we thus hear between the walls of Stanislas.
"This establishment puts students in danger"
Revelations that quickly sparked reactions. Two communist senators, Ian Brossat (Paris) and Pierre Ouzoulias (Hauts-de-Seine) declared this Wednesday, January 17 "to take legal action alongside SOS Homophobia ;quot; following the conclusions of this report, according to information from 20 Minutes.
They assure that they want to make "a report to the Paris prosecutor under article 40 of the code of criminal procedure" and seize "through a lawyer the prefect of Paris to request the deconvention of the high school".
"This establishment puts students in danger. It bears witness to elements which have undeniable consequences on the psychological health of children. We discover the whole mechanism that pushes LGBT children to commit suicide", alerts Ian Brossat to 20 Minutes.
"Homophobia, misogyny, non-respect for the values of the Republic: the facts are serious. The government cannot remain indifferent", he insists on X (formerly Twitter).

Because the State has in fact taken over the matter. The famous report will be the subject of a "action plan" followed up with "rigor" a promised this Wednesday the Minister of National Education. It "was ordered in February 2023, and completed in early August 2023. And immediately Gabriel Attal (then Minister of Education) asked the rectorate and the general inspectorate to follow an action plan which includes almost 15 measures", assured Amélie Oudéa-Castéra on France 2.
This plan "will be followed with all the necessary rigor", added the minister. The next few days promise to be hot for Stanislas.
