Kate Middleton's surprise appearance at a Scottish church, which the princess was making alongside the royal family ?

The Princess of Wales made a surprise appearance this Sunday, August 25 in Scotland.

Having been suffering from cancer since last March, Kate Middleton continues to respond to various public requests. This Sunday, August 25, the Princess of Wales went to mass alongside her husband Prince William, her eldest son Prince George and her father-in-law King Charles III, indicates BFMTV.

It was at Crathie Kirk, a church in the village of Crathie, near Balmoral Castle, where the Windsors usually spend their summers, that the royal family went. There, they were joined by Prince Edward and the Duchess of Edinburgh as well as Prince Richard and the Duke of Gloucester.

Very rare appearances

Kate Middleton's last appearance was on July 14th at the men's final of the Wimbledon tennis tournament. That day, she was accompanied by her daughter Charlotte and was greeted by a standing ovation from the audience.

More recently, the Princess of Wales appeared in a video congratulating the British athletes who took part in the Olympic Games. “From all of us at home who have been following your exploits, congratulations to the British team”, she had declared.

Since the announcement of her cancer and her preventive chemotherapy five months ago, Kate Middleton has been increasingly rare. Last June, she nevertheless assured that she was making “good progress” thanks to the treatment.
