Pensionnaire du CSO Millau, Kentin Baldeyrou a intégré l'équipe professionnelle Commençal pour la saison qui arrive.

Millau has its place on the world mountain bike map and has done so for several years. After having headliners in downhill, notably at Scott with Dylan Levesque and Marine Cabirou, the city of gloves now has a representative in enduro with Kentin Baldeyrou. The young driver who was still riding under the colors of CSO Millau last year will now have the Commencal tunic during competitions. "That's all new for me, it's a new beginning, I'm super happy because it's the result of a lot of sacrifices, traveling with my father to competitions as a private pilot, without help" , he is satisfied.

He has now joined one of the best teams in the discipline where Rudy Cabirou, who was his coach last year, is part of the technical staff. 60~em>"He will follow me again this season, assures the pilot. I train more often and more intensively and he knows how to adapt to me." If the structure integrated by Kentin Baldeyrou is a professional, he, just 17 years old, still has to work on his baccalaureate.

Intern in a high school in Aubin

Taken a passion for wood when he was in college, he now studies as an intern in an establishment in Aubin, in a professional wood construction technician baccalaureate where the priority is n&#39 He doesn't cycle and boarding school schedules dictate his day's schedule. "I like it and I take advantage of the weekends to ride more, during the week I compensate with bodybuilding, muscle strengthening or running. I sometimes take the bike on Wednesdays when the sports teacher organizes an outing and on weekends I ride even more."

A first internship in Spain

Conditions far from what he experienced during the first week of the school holidays when he made his mark within the team, during ;an internship in Spain. "I discovered how a team works with a mechanic, life in a community with professional pilots … I was well integrated, it was super cool, we rode on different supports, in a bike park, on gravel."  And get your bearings on your new mount before starting the season. He will appear in the World Cup rounds where "it will be a discovery and where I will try to appear as best as I can. And in the Coupe de France where he took second place among the juniors and third place overall last year.
