Kim Boutin is taking a break next fall

Just back from the world championship in Seoul, short track skater Kim Boutin said on her social media this morning that she would skip the first four World Cups next fall in order to to devote himself to his studies and get involved with an organization that helps young mothers and children living in vulnerable situations. 

In a message published in English on her Facebook page, the double bronze medalist in the 1500m and 3000m relay at the last Worlds says that she finished the season with a heart filled with love and that her sport has always allowed her to meet incredible people with significant values.

After the 2019 season, Boutin also took a break before returning the following year in preparation for the Beijing Olympics in February 2022.
