Lakers player LeBron James, winner of a new NBA coronation, was named Thursday Sportsman of the Year 2020 by the American magazine Time.

Also recently honored by the sports magazine Illusrated Sports, LeBron James is elected sportsman of the year both for his sports results and for his societal commitment.
The basketball player thus won a fourth NBA coronation in ten finals, with a different third team, at the end of an unprecedented season, still dominating his field at 35 years old.
Time Magazine also welcomes the basketball player’s commitment to the vote, through the association More Than a Vote (More Than a Vote), calling on African-Americans to register on the electoral rolls and to go massively to the polls during of the presidential election.
James supported the action “by recruiting other athletes for the cause” and by “promoting More Than a Vote to its more than 48 million followers on Twitter,” said Time.
