La limite de dépôt des candidatures aux prochaines élections législatives était fixée dimanche 16 juin 2024 à 18 h. Six candidats ont déposé leur dossier.

According to our information, six Lozerian candidates will run in the next legislative elections, the polls of which will take place on Sundays June 30 and July 7, 2024. Pierre Morel- at-l’Bailiff, outgoing deputy, is running under the Miscellaneous right label with Audrey Malaval, mayor of Pourcharesses, as replacement. Sophie Pantel, current president of the Department, will leave under the colors of the New Popular Front, replaced by Serge Gayssot, local secretary of the Communist Party.

In total, six candidates

Luc-Étienne Gousseau will represent the National Rally (RN), in a duo with Damien Crueyze. Michel Guiral is running under the label Résistons, the party of Jean Lasalle, with Jean-Claude Toiron. Added to these names are Annie Souchon, from Lutte Ouvrière, with her deputy Thierry Fronty. Regulars at the polls, the duo had already presented themselves in 2022. Finally, the last candidate in the running, Dja Zidoun and his deputy Vanessa Usson.

Applications will be made official by the prefecture during the day of Monday June 17.
