Ligue 1: MHSC will host Strasbourg on Sunday without Falaye Sacko but with Wahbi Khazri

Montpellier coach Michel Der Zakarian summoned a group of 20 players this Saturday, March 2, which does not include the defender, unlike the attacker, who will return for the Strasbourg reception on Sunday. ;nbsp;

One goes in, the other goes out. Michel Der Zakarian chose not to retain Falaye Sacko but to recall Wahbi Khazri on the occasion of the reception by the MHSC of Strasbourg, this Sunday (3 p.m.), during the 24th day of Ligue 1. & nbsp;

The absence of Sacko may be surprising, to the extent that the Hérault coach already has to do without two central defenders this Sunday. Becir Omeragic and Christopher Jullien, suffering from arch problems, are indeed absent.

Two professional central defenders

The Malian can help out in the axis. But his recent performance in Marseille (4-1), last Sunday, did not plead his case. And the Montpellier staff will therefore present themselves with three professional central defenders against the Alsatians: Sagnan, Kouyaté and the young Allix, called up at the last minute, while the full-back Lucas Mincarelli does not ultimately appear in the updated group. Like midfielder Sacha Delaye.

If Sacko leaves the group, although he was present in training on Friday, his partner Wahbi Khazri finds him. The former Tunisian international was not selected during the last two MHSC meetings, against Metz and on the OM field.

New chance for Khazri ?

Asked Friday about the presence of the ex-Stéphanois against Strasbourg, Der Zak did not wish to respond. "You'll see", the technician had whispered. 

If Khazri's overall investment has largely disappointed this season, he could be offered another chance this Sunday. 

Strasbourg with a new kid

In Strasbourg, Patrick Vieira has to deal with six absentees:  Sahi, in the recovery phase, the injured Fila, Mothiba, Sebas, Sylla and  Angelo will not be there trip to Hérault.
