Ligue 1: the MHSC formalizes the arrival of its new striker at the very end of the winter transfer window

The expected offensive reinforcement on the Montpellier side has finally arrived and his name is Yann Karamoh. The ex-Bordelais joins Hérault in the "moneytime" of the transfer window, this Thursday, February 1, from Torino. 

After a rather calm winter in terms of arrivals, Montpellier HSC was particularly active during the last hours of this transfer window. 

In the morning of this final day, the club made official on its social networks the arrival of Modibo Sagnan, from Utrecht for 3 million euros, and the departure of Kelvin Yeboah , in premature return from loan to his original club, Genoa. 

In the last hours of the transfer window, the MHSC ended up closing the Karamoh file, and announced the arrival of the ex-international Espoirs in the form of ;a loan which would be accompanied by a purchase option according to various media. 

Last mixed experiences

Trained at the Stade Malherbe in Caen, Yann Karamoh is a professional winger, with a fairly fast and athletic profile, who notably played in Italy for Milan, or more recently, for Torino.& nbsp;

An interesting start to his career marked by a major transition, from Caen to Inter Milan in Serie A. Yann Karamoh recently seemed to encounter more difficulties at Torino, where he was not hardly used this season (11 matches, 0 goals). 

Faced with this difficulty of adaptation in the Nerrazurri club, Karamoh was loaned and discovered Ligue 1, under the Bordeaux colors. In Gironde, the winger born in Ivory Coast scored 3 goals and delivered 3 assists in 33 matches played, in all competitions, during the 2018 season. 2019.  

Like his new teammate Modibo Sagnan, Yann Karamoh places in this new event in France, the objective of regaining a confidence lost in recent months. 

The cure for a sick attack ?

Yann Karamoh will be competing with attackers looking for success, like Akor Adams who has not scored in 10 L1 matches, ;#39;others still in the integration phase like Tanguy Coulibaly, or even other choices not available at the moment for other reasons: injury ( Nordin), selection (Tamari)…
