Ligue 2: frustrating for Rodez who largely dominated Bordeaux but conceded the draw

For the 27th day of Ligue 2, Rodez had to share the points with the Girondins de Bordeaux (2-2) at the Paul Lignon stadium, this Saturday March 2.

After reacting superbly to Bordeaux's opening score, the Ruthenois dominated the proceedings, Corredor equalizing before Lipinski gave the advantage just before the break.

Rodez continued to push to make the break but two goals were disallowed for offside. Fatally during the last opportunity for Bordeaux, the ball ended up in the net and Rodez could end this meeting frustrated.

In the standings, Rodez remains in the race for the play-offs, remaining 3 points behind Caen and Saint-Etienne. Next deadline in Amiens next Saturday.
