Youngsters Dylan Cozens and Jack Quinn will have little time to recover from Canada’s loss in the World Junior Hockey Championship final as they are due at Buffalo Sabers training camp these days.
The organization confirmed Wednesday the addition of the two hockey players to the group of participants in its preparatory camp. They should join the other players “in the days to come”.
Cozens and Quinn helped the national squad clinch the silver medal at the World Juniors, with Maple Leaf representatives falling 2-0 to the United States in the final game on Tuesday. The former had eight goals and as many assists for 16 points in seven games during the tournament, while the latter had five points.
The Sabers will kick off the campaign by hosting the Washington Capitals on January 14.
