The tv channel Citytv will present a series of concerts recorded live. Training american The Black Crowes, who took over the service, will start the ball Saturday at 20h.
With the season of summer concerts cancelled, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Live Nation Canada and Budweiser have decided to go forward with this initiative called the Budweiser Stage At Home.
The quartet, canada’s The Trews, from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, will also be featured during the evening.
Alan Doyle and Blue Rodeo will follow during the program of 6 June. The next artists in this series totalling four evenings of music will be later disclosed.
These performances will be recorded live in venues, intimate and with the quality of a recording on television.
The one-hour program will be hosted by Tara Sloan, ex-singer of the training Joydrop, from the Budweiser Stage at Ontario Place in Toronto.
This concert series could continue beyond the month of June according to the operation of the current pandemic.
