LIVE. MHSC-Strasbourg: Adams is stopped twice by saves from Johnsson who keeps the score level

Nordin et le MHSC cherchent la faille dans le système strasbourgeois. Midi Libre – Alexandre Dimou

The Ligue 1 season resumes this weekend and Montpellier hosts Strasbourg for its first match, at the Stade de la Mosson, this Sunday, August 18 at 5 p.m.

Montpellier is starting its season well this Sunday. While the transfer window has not yet started at La Paillade, apart from the confirmed departures of Delaye and Leroy, the championship is starting and Montpellier will want to take advantage of its strengths to get its championship off to a good start.

Making La Mosson its garden

Indeed, in difficulty last year at home (only three wins in 17 games), Michel Der Zakarian's players will want to start their year by taking points against a team that will a priori play the same championship as MHSC, i.e. survival. For its fiftieth anniversary, the Nicollin club hopes to remain in the elite for a 16th consecutive time.

Montpellier will therefore be able to count on the same group as last year to succeed in its start to the season but also on a hybrid pitch in perfect condition which has left the famous summer mushrooms far from the pitch.

Michel Der Zakarian's first team composition is no surprise and we will find the typical team of the year last.
