To have access to this type of contract, there are two conditions: "the owner must control the land portion of his plot and, the latter must be a minimum of 2 hectares, even if we happen to accept land of one hectare, explains the Néosylva manager. This company, created in 2018, wishes to respond comprehensively to the difficulties of forest owners. Three areas are supported after signing this contract: investment, management and transmission. "It’s a transfer of responsibilities and concerns, says Romain Doumergue Ribière. We take care of the financial costs of the work to be carried out; we take care of finding a management company to take care of all of the silviculture and maintenance of the land."< /p>
The steps to make the contract
Romain Doumergue Ribière, Néosylva manager for the western Massif Central sector, detailed the different ;steps to make this new contract a reality: "We make ourselves known through words " the ear. To agree on a contract, we start by carrying out a visit, then a forestry diagnosis, then an inventory is made by the managers. If this gives positive results, we sign a private contract. to start upstream à analyze the work, then we make the partnership official by signing the contract in front of a notary."
In return, so that the financial equation is stable, if the wood present on the plot is sold, Néosylva recovers 50% of the sale price. But the owners will still own the land on the plot. "They will always be able to hunt, enjoy it with family and collect mushrooms", specifies with a smile the Néosylva manager for the Massif west sector Central.
A synergy between Néosylva and ABMC
Taking care of a forest takes into account many steps: " It means managing your plot, training and informing yourself, knowing the species present on your land and its land, what you want to do with these woods, knowing the law, investing and transmitting it. ;, lists Romain Doumergue Ribière.
To keep these promises, the Néosylva company relies on local management companies, such as Avenir bois Massif Central (ABMC), in Saint-Chély-d’Apcher.
