Two men and a woman have appeared in court Friday at the palace of justice in Granby with respect to the armed aggression in which a young man of 20 was stabbed to death and his father beat him up, at the beginning of June, Granby, qc.
Marc-André Patenaude, age 28, of Sherbrooke, and Jimmy Boulet Pomerleau, 36, of Granby, have been charged with break and enter, aggravated assault and assault causing injury.
Eloise Brouillette, age 20, of Granby, is it facing leaders of the conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, criminal harassment and of having sold cannabis.
The events occurred in the evening of 9 June, in a residence of the rue Claudette. According to the authorities, Patenaude and Boulet Pomerleau will be presented at the victim, who remains with his father.
During the crime, the victim would have been seriously injured by a bladed weapon. His father was also injured during the altercation.
The investigation had been started by the police of Granby, before being transferred to the Sûreté du Québec.
According to police, the victim in this case was “referred to by the suspects in connection with a transaction of narcotic drugs”.
