Maple Leafs: Rasmus Sandin case finally settled
|UPDATE DAY
The Toronto Maple Leafs reached an agreement on Thursday with their only hockey player who did not have a valid contract, defenseman Rasmus Sandin, who agreed to a two-year, $2.8 million pact .
The 22-year-old athlete was still patient by virtue of his restricted free agent status, but he will now be able to prepare with his teammates for the start of the season. Also, he signed on the same terms as another club full-back, Timothy Liljegren; in August, several sources suggested that the intentions of the club with regard to Sandin were identical, especially that approximately $ 1.4 million remained at the disposal of the training on his salary bill.
The one- ci had five goals and 11 assists for 16 points in 51 games last season. The 29th overall pick of the 2018 draft has played 88 career season games.
