Canada's Mary Spencer will try to get back to winning ways against Venezuela's Ogleidis Suarez on March 23 at the Cabaret du Casino de MontrĂ©al.

Promoter Camille Estephan made the announcement on Wednesday, via his Twitter account.

Last December, Spencer (7-1-0, 5 K.-O.) lost against the Belgian Femke Hermans in a fight for the IBO world super-welterweight belt.

Quebec boxing fans will remember Suarez (30-5-1, 14 KOs) since the latter s was measured at Marie-Eve Dicaire in November 2019 in Quebec. The crowd favorite won by unanimous decision.

After his loss to Dicaire, Suarez found his way to victory against compatriot Maria Pirona in February 2020, but lost his flag against the American Shadasia Green in October 2022.

In addition to Spencer, Eye of the Tiger Management boxers Christian Mbilli and Simon Kean will be in action on March 23.
