One of the most important things in Mask Singer, it was obviously to hide the identity of the celebrity hidden underneath the masks. In order to achieve this, several measures have been taken. First, before the records : every star, before donning his suit, he wore a mask and a sweat-shirt that read “Don’t talk to me” (Don’t talk to me about). The technicians could not speak to the candidates, and only 11 people were aware of the identity of the stars selected.
Other far more stunning ? The public assistant to the records was not about discovering the face of the celebrity eliminated and unmasked ! “At the end of the day, we showed them a picture of a celebrity, saying that maybe it was her. Where are the pictures of the astonishment of the public,” explains Anthony Miller, producer of Mask Singer in Paris.
Mask Singer : the public was not about discovering really the face of the eliminated candidate
The celebrities sing in playback ?
During the broadcast of the first number, we wondered if the stars were singing in playback, the mask that may cause problems for the sound. According to Anthony Monnier, this would not always be the case. He confides that the team has turned a “registration relief” in the studio. “At the assembly, we used one or the other depending on the situations. But on the plateau, the figures sing always,” he adds.
When will we see all the characters together ?
The first award was presented to six characters, and the second, released this Friday, November 15, reveals the other six. To find the candidates together, it will have to wait until Friday 22 November. The mechanics will be a little modified because two celebrities will be eliminated each week until the final, which will be the sixth show in which four celebrities will compete.
How much are the impressive costumes ?
The costumes of the candidates of Mask Singer you were amazed ? Be aware that they are very expensive ! According to The Sunday Newspaper, each would cost between 20 000 and 45 000 euros. This is Marie-France Larrouy, who notably designed the costumes for Asterix and Obelix, who has worked on the costumes of Mask Singer, who asked each of between 300 and 400 hours of work.
