Mathias Malzieu breaks his leg in Nîmes: the singer of Dionysos sends a message to his fans from his hospital room

Le chanteur Mathias Malzieu du groupe de Dionysos a donné des nouvelles sur son état de santé ce mercredi 14 février après s'être cassé la jambe la veille à la salle Paloma de Nîmes. 

Coming to Nîmes for the first date of the 30th anniversary tour, the Dionysos group only performed on stage for a very short time. Indeed, after only a minute and a half, singer Mathias Malzieu tripped and broke his leg, falling to the ground.

"There are worse things in the world"

Once the singer was taken to the hospital, the other musicians of the group returned to the stage to announce the news. "We will do everything to come back, we will come back", declared singer and violinist Babet. 

The day after his serious injury, the singer posted a story on his Instagram account to reassure the group's fans. "Thank you very much for your messages, it gives me a balm in my heart to find joyful and creative solutions", starts l&#39 ;artist before announcing that the tour was going to continue. "We are not going to let a story of a broken leg hold us back, there are other things serious in the world"

The artist back on a chair ?

Having barely been admitted to the hospital, Mathias Malzieu is already thinking about his return. "We are working on a somewhat magical seat. We're thinking about it and we'll leave again soon", he continues before adding a touch of humor: "I tell myself that I'm only six feet tall, on a chair I won't be much smaller than usual so it should be fine& ;quot;.
