Mattias Janmark is moving to Edmonton

Forward Mattias Janmark signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday. 

The 29-year-old skater will wear a fourth National League uniform, having previously played for the Dallas Stars (2015-2020), Chicago Blackhawks (2020-2021) and Vegas Golden Knights ( 2021-2022).

Last year, the Swede had nine goals and 16 assists, for 25 points in 67 games with the Golden Knights.

Since the he opening of the 2022 free agent market, the Oilers notably offered a contract to goaltender Jack Campbell, in addition to maintaining the services of forward Evander Kane and defenseman Brett Kulak.
