Mauguio: A revamped time in the Land of Fé di Biou!

It was during its press conference on Thursday February 22 at the end of the morning that the town of Mauguio-Carnon unveiled the opening of its season which will take place on March 17 with the first race of the tenth edition of the 3M Trophy.

A dynamic season (with 24 races all local entities combined) in the image of Patricia Moullin-Traffort, deputy delegate for culture, heritage and traditions and Departmental Advisor, who mapped out the common thread « with the implementation of new actions, developments are to be expected. The season is certainly supported by the city, but it is not alone and will rely on strong partnerships with local bullfighting clubs, the raseteurs school, the manadiers, the raseteurs as well as that the Pitchoto Camargue… We work in conjunction with the associative fabric. Mauguio is a town that does everything it can to bring its traditions to life. We talk but we also act … Presence on February 11 in Montpellier, support for manadiers during COVID (envelope of 55,000 euros), implementation of the youth card and increase in the price of street shows, provision of arenas free of charge, payment to all bullfighting clubs purchasing youth bracelets for the party…hellip;. With a significant number of events (all categories combined) «it’is much more much more than a bullfighting spectacle, than the aficion that is offered, it’ is an art of living » for Christian Assaf, elected representative from Montpellier, regional advisor responsible for sports policies within the metropolis.
