Not to say that we are now at the peak, but the pace of development of the industry is really impressive. First and foremost, it is a merit of the organizers, promoters and bookers. All of them over the last 2-3 years has accustomed us to the great abundance of musical events in the country. The Ukrainians are now on a par with its European neighbors listen to new albums of the foreign artists alive. In addition, the Western musicians appear frequently in line-UPS of the Ukrainian festivals.

What significant changes have occurred in this area over the last few years? What influenced this, what do you think?
A well-known fact that economic crises and war can be an impetus for the development of culture. So, from 2015 on, we felt a jolt in 9 points. One after another, new projects arose an unprecedented demand for “Ukrainian”. Such an abundance of events, as now, performs an educational function. The more often people visit cultural events, especially developing their taste in music, the more demanding they are to the industry. I would like to pay tribute to those promoters who take risks to bring new artists to our country. Yeah, maybe Massive Attack last year at UPark is not collected full stadium, but that’s what the show’s years will set an example to the Ukrainian audience.

You analyze the consumer market. Concerts have always had the lion’s share in the entertainment industry. Have there been any shifts in the distribution market?
Concerts, as before, occupy the first place, if we are talking about the entertainment industry. But have you tried to buy a ticket to the theatre? I have to say, it will be difficult. Here is where tickets to fly with surprising speed. Theatre as a leisure activity — it is understandable to Ukrainian consumers, and so will be a long time!

We have not much experience on the matter, the practice shows that this does not affect the consumer behaviour, the society is overloaded with fakes, and people it’s interesting.
You had the original re-branding. How did the idea with the hearts?
New look Karabas we wanted to Express our attitude to our customers. Remind them that everything we do at work, we do it with love. Is this love — and to our users and the industry entirely.
As a consequence, a well known brand logo transformed into a heart — symbol of love. The results of the rebranding, you probably already could see on the streets of the city, concerts or online. It is important to note that the rebranding we have carried out on their own, without involving third-party agencies. For me it is a real pride because for the last 8 years we have managed to gather a company of professionals who today.
How often do companies need to change the design and why?
Conduct re-branding is when the brand has a need for something to declare itself. If we talk about the design of the brand, the previous one lived for about 7 years. As for the new — it is hard to make any plans with the current pace of development all around. In the rebranding, working on a new design, we tried to preserve the distinctive character Karabas — our corporate colors. In my feeling, due to strengthen the brand in visual terms.
Many worried about how not to fall for scams that sell fake tickets?
First, only buy official tickets. Never undertake to buy tickets “with hands” or in social networks. In this case, you will not be able to protect yourself from fakes. How do you think, whose concerts we still long to see in Ukraine?
This question is better to ask the promoters. I think many promoters will agree with me, to carry to Ukraine the superstars, like Jay-Z or Beyonce, is a real suicide. Just because of artists ‘ fees, the high cost of the show and logistics peculiarities, tickets for such concerts in Ukraine will cost an average of 3-5 thousand. For a promoter to leave the show, it will be necessary to collect 50 thousand spectators. Agree, a utopia.
