ME AND CIE: the world of drag will be demystified in the documentary reality “The agency”

The world of drag will be at the heart of the new docu-reality “L'agence” on the MOI ET CIE channel, whose production has just started. < /p>

“The Agency” will focus on the Midor agency, co-founded by Michel Dorion, a drag queen known for his impersonations of our national Celine Dion. Midor represents about ten drags, which the docu-reality will follow during their performances, which increasingly take place outside the Village, in Montreal.

The girls are indeed called upon to shine in places where you wouldn't think you'd have the chance to meet them, especially in funeral parlor conventions, extravagant weddings in Laval, Chinese restaurants in Hochelaga, campsites in Abitibi or western festivals.

“”The agency” is a series that is at once funny, human and astonishing which will make us discover, from a new angle, a captivating environment”, said the Senior Director of Channels and Programming at Groupe TVA, Nathalie Fabien.

We will take stock of their working conditions, which vary greatly from place to place. We will also discover the girls without their thick make-up, their false eyelashes or their padding.

The 12 half-hours will be directed by Simon Sachel (“Star Académie”, “A zoo like no other”) and produced by Productions Déferlantes, in collaboration with Quebecor Content.

“Driven by a director who has both a sense of storytelling and a sense of humor, this new series will take an original and unprecedented look at a subject totally in tune with the times,” said Johanne Ménard, director of original content Documentaries and lifestyle at Quebecor Content.

No indication has been given at this stage- ci with respect to the broadcast period of “L'agence”.
