Mediterranean Agriculture Exhibition in Villeveyrac: the Agropolis campus on display to promote its training

Présent ce samedi 15 juin sur le Salon des Agricultures Méditerranéennes, le Campus Agropolis propose des formations sur trois sites : Montpellier, Béziers et Pézenas.

They haven't stopped since Friday, the opening day of the Salon des Agricultures Méditerranéennes, in Villeveyrac. Secondary general and technological students from the Charles-Marie de la Condamine vocational high school, accompanied by CAP agricultural horticulture apprentices from the CFA in Béziers, are creating a terrace during the two days of the Show.

At work in front of visitors, they make and redo the floor of their small plot of 5 m2. "It’is both earthmoving work, but also landscaping", explains Isabelle Dantand, communications manager for the Agripolis Campus.

A Campus which extends from Montpellier to Béziers, via Pézenas

This offers academic training in general and technological, vocational or higher education tracks. Two establishments offer these training courses, the Frédéric-Bazille high school – Agropolis in Montpellier, and the Charles-Marie de la Condamine vocational high school, in Pézenas.  The Agropolis Campus also offers work-study training – apprenticeship on the three sites of the CFA Agricole de l’Hérault (in the cities of Montpellier, Béziers or Pézenas).

"This Show is an opportunity for us to communicate about our training, continues Isabelle Dantand. Our campus extends from Montpellier to Béziers, via Pézenas. We touch on all areas of agriculture, through around fifty training courses."
