The mother

Mélanie and her daughter Rosalie Bonenfant when she was very young. Today, like her mother, she is an actress and host (Two men in gold and Rosalie at Télé-Québec). Mélanie is the mother of a son, Louis-Thomas, a part-time rapper who graduated from high school last year. 


< p>A graduate in theater at the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe and in drama education at UQAM, the actress seduced the general public in the cult series In a galaxy near youin the skin of the Pétrolia technician, surrounded by the famous crew of the Romano Fafard spaceship, including Captain Patenaude (Guy Jodoin).

< p>Mélanie while hosting the daily Two girls in the morning with Julie Bélanger. A string of excellent hosts have succeeded in this flagship TVA show, which was on the air from the year 2000 and spanned 21 years, including France Beaudoin and Isabelle Racicot. 

< strong>Comical in nature

In the spring of 2004, Mélanie had just left the Caméra café gang for a pay equity issue. For the past few years, humorous engagements have followed one another, notably at Piment fort and Dominic and Martin. Pregnant with her second child, however, it was at home that she played the most beautiful role of her life, that of mother.  

Surprise of fate  

In 2010, Mélanie succeeded Marie-Lise Pilote on the show Ma maison Rona on TVA (photo). The TV adventure continued for her, revealed thanks to the LNI in 1995. She still continues with the show Sucré salé which she will host this summer, when she was a columnist there is 18 years old. 

  • Mélanie Maynard co-hosts since last year Children of TV alongside André Robitaille. Wednesdays, 8 p.m., on ICI Télé and the best moments on ici.tou.ca
  • She will host the summer daily Sucré salé as soon as the show returns in the spring. She succeeds Patrice Bélanger who succeeded Guy Jodoin. This will be the 22nd season of the popular show which debuted in 2002. She will be the first woman to helm the show. On TVA, Monday to Friday.
  • Mélanie, who has co-hosted several radio shows in her career, has been on the radio show for two years Let's start from the same ! weekday mornings from 5:30 a.m., alongside Vincent Dessureault, Julien Poirier-Malo and several collaborators including France Castel on Thursdays. On WKND-FM 99.5.
  • Mélanie is co-author of several plays and collaborates on Sébastien Diaz's show < em>We'll tell each other, weekdays at 4 p.m. on ICI Télé.
