At the Piencourt gymnasium, in Mende, this Thursday March 21, 2024, in the play-off for accession to League A, the MVL lost 0 sets to 3 (25-27, 18-25, 23-25) against AS Cannes.

The advantage of the floor was not enough for the players of Mende Volley Lozère to trip up AS Cannes. The two teams (League B) played this Thursday evening, at the Piencourt gymnasium, in Mende, the third match of the first round of the play-offs for accession to League A.

An ambitious adversary

The principle: the first to arrive at three victories (out of five matches if necessary) obtains their ticket for the next round. The Mendois, last qualified at the end of the regular phase of the championship, had the big disadvantage of facing from the outset the first, Cannes, therefore, which displays its ambitions to return as quickly as possible the highest level.

After two first defeats in Cannes last weekend (3-1 and 3-0), the MVL lost again this Thursday (0-3; 25 -27, 18-25, 23-25)
