By joining Montpellier, Domingo Miotti (28 years old) will discover a fifth club since the start of his professional career in 2018. After starting with the Argentine province of Jaguares (2018-2020) in Super Rugby, the native of Tucumán flies to Australia and the Western Force team (2020-2021) for which he will play one season. In 2021, he joins Europe by joining the Glasgow Warriors club (2021-2023). Last summer, he decides to join the squad of the promoted Oyonnax. MHR is therefore the Argentinian's last destination.

He is an international with the Pumas

Hugo Domingo Miotti has ten caps with the Argentine national team. Already present with the junior teams, he wore the Pumas jersey for the first time in December 2020 during a Rugby Championship match against Australia. In 2021, he will be a substitute almost every time except for a match against the Springboks during which he will have his one and only start to date. In terms of statistics, the Argentinian flyhalf scored 13 points in 164 minutes of play.

He still hasn't scored any Top tries 14

The "successor" of Louis Carbonel (who left for Stade Français) will perhaps have the opportunity to unlock his try counter with Montpellier in the Top 14. Despite his twenty matches played last season (including 17 as a starter) with the Oyonnax jersey, Miotti has still not crossed the goal line. He nevertheless finished eighth in the ranking of the best scorers in the championship with 164 points scored (37 penalties, 25 conversions and a drop goal).
