MHR: it’s official, pillar Baptiste Erdocio and center Auguste Cadot are signing with Montpellier

Le Montpellier Hérault Rugby a officialisé la signature, ce jeudi 25 mai, de deux Biarrots : Baptiste Erdocio (pilier) et Auguste Cadot (centre).

The MHR is active on the transfer market. Apart from the signing of Sam Simmonds (Exeter) and Richard Cockerill to the staff, no name has been made official until now.  

This Thursday, the club announced the arrivals of two Biarrots. The left pillar Baptiste Erdocio (1.73m, 113 kg) and the center Auguste Cadot (1.80m, 85 kg), both starters this season with their club.

The first is 23 years old and is coming off a full season with the BO since he was fielded 30 times (21 times starter, 3 tries), i.e. all regular season matches. The second, 21 years old, played 24 matches including 22 as a starter (5 tries). 

The two men signed in Montpellier until 2026. Cadot will be attached to the training center for his first year.

In terms of the transfer window, the MHR has been quite discreet since the start of the season. English hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie, supposed to be a strong recruit for next season, will ultimately not come to Hérault after an inconclusive medical examination. According to our colleagues from L'Equipe, Australian hooker Tolu Latu (30 years old, 22 caps) would be on track to sign up.

For unofficial movements, the arrival of the right pillar of Exeter Harry Williams (31 years old, 19 caps) is also very likely. Benoît Paillaugue, currently in Toulon, is very close to returning to his favorite club. Finally, Alexandre Ruiz is on his way to take the reins of Soyaux-Angoulême (Pro D2).
