MHR- Stade Toulousain: Hogg starts, Verhaeghe on the bench, Jelonch returns, discover the line-ups of the two teams

For the 3rd day of Top 14, Montpellier hosts Stade Toulousain (Saturday, September 21 at 4:30 p.m.). Montpellier players who want to confirm their victory against Usap.

You (almost) don't change a winning team. To face the reigning champion, the Montpellier staff decided to keep almost the entire team that won in Béziers against Usap.

The MHR has therefore only made two changes compared to the previous match. This is the return of Stuart Hogg at the back, in place of Thomas Vincent. Held in Scotland for his legal affairs last week, the Scottish international was back in training this Monday. Author of an excellent performance for his first in the colours of the MHR against Lyon, Hogg will therefore experience his second start.

Another return that will do good for the MHR, that of the second Florian Verhaeghe line. Absent for several months due to an ankle injury, the former Toulouse player will do well on the touchline, a sector undermined by absences at the start of the season. Verhaeghe will start on the bench, replacing Marco Tauleigne who is leaving the squad.

For the rest, Joan Caudullo trusts the winners of Perpignan, notably with the hinge Coly-Miotti or the pair of wingers Bridge and Tambwe.

Jelonch is back

On the Toulouse side, still no Antoine Dupont, but the return of Anthony Jelonch on the bench of the European champions. Affected with cruciate ligaments last February, The third row therefore makes his return after almost eight months of absence. Ugo Mola's staff has decided to rotate its squad.
