MHSC: two matches suspended for the Etang de Thau stand after the incidents against OM

A new suspension for the stand where the Montpellier ultras are located. Jean-Michel Mart.

After the “incidents” of last December 20 in the stands of Mosson, against Marseille, the MHSC knows its sanction.

The pailladin club could have feared a withdrawal of points but ultimately came out of it “almost” GOOD. For the use by its supporters of “85 pyrotechnic devices” but above all from a fireworks display in the middle of a match, Montpellier inherits a sanction of two matches behind closed doors (closure of the Etang de Thau stand).

After eight matches behind closed doors last season, the MHSC will have two more in 2024, for the stand which hosts its ultra supporters.

A start to the year during which the Pailladins will have to take points to avoid a feverish second part of the season.
