Millau: the second phase of the network renovation project on the Boulevard de l'Ayrolle will begin Monday April 8

After consulting with traders and residents, the City has decided to continue the work at night (from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.).

The first phase of the renovation project for the drinking water networks on Boulevard de l'Ayrolle, in the town center of Millau, is coming to an end. It concerned the part going from Place Bompaire to Rue du Barry.

For the future, the City, after consulting traders and residents in a public meeting, has validated that the second phase of the work will take place at night (from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.). This will be the part of Boulevard de l'Ayrolle between Rue du Barry and Place du Mandarous. In practice the work will be carried out from April 8 to 30 then from May 14 to 31. 

The night work option will cause noise pollution for local residents but will not impact traffic during the day. For the future, the City announces that "the roadway will be resurfaced with a sound-proof coating which will reduce noise, increase the safety and comfort of users in the fall of 2024.& ;quot;
