The Toronto Blue Jays ended their series against the New York Yankees on a high with a 5-2 win Sunday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. < /p>
John Schneider's men made a three-run push in the seventh inning to save themselves with the honors.

It all started when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a two-point slap. It was his second long ball in three games this season at home for the Yankees. The home run was Guerrero Jr.'s 12th in 34 games at Bronx Stadium.
Daulton Varsho followed his teammate's lead this inning by sending Clarke Schmidt 389 feet from home. Jays wide receiver Danny Jansen drove in the visitors' fourth and fifth runs. Number 9 had also hit a two-run homer the day before.
Anthony Rizzo was the only Bronx Bomber to put his name in the RBI column.
Toronto starter Kevin Gausman had an excellent afternoon of work. The 32-year-old right-hander struck out 11 batters and allowed just three hits in seven innings.
Toronto will start a three-game home streak on Monday against the Chicago White Sox, who are struggling all sorts of times this season, as evidenced by their seven wins in 23 contests.
Logan Allen illustrious
One of major league baseball's premier prospects, Logan Allen, made his first big league start, leading the Guardians to a 7-4 triumph over the Marlins Miami at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
The 24-year-old gunner checked eight Marlins batters in his six innings.
Jose Ramirez and Josh Bell each hit a long ball for the Ohio team.
Marlins players Jon Berti and Avisail Garcia each added a homer to their record.
The great start Pirates season continues
At PNC Park in Pittsburgh, the Pirates won their 16th game this season by beating the Cincinnati Reds 2-0.
Pirates outfielder Jack Suwinski drove in the insurance run in the eighth inning with a double that allowed Carlos Santana to cross the plate.
