(Sportcom) – Mikaël Kingsbury and Julien Viel were respectively decorated with silver and bronze in the dual mogul event presented on Saturday at the World Cup in Chiesa in Valmalenco, Italy.
In the Grand Final, Kingsbury were defeated by Japanese rival Ikuma Horishima. The Quebecer thus obtained his ninth medal of the season in ten occasions.
His teammate Julien Viel accompanied him on the podium thanks to a victory in the small final against the American Dylan Walczyk. The Lévis boss thus won the very first medal of his career in the World Cup, and this, on his 10th start.
Elliot Vaillancourt and Gabriel Dufresne were also in action in Italy, as was Laurianne Desmarais- Gilbert in women.
