This Sunday, Marine Cabirou and Max Alran won the second edition of the Monkey DH, under the Millau Viaduct.

The windy conditions didn't make things easy but both races took place, despite an advanced schedule. This Sunday, on the Monkey DH route in Millau, the public was treated to a great show offered by the drivers present.

Locals Dylan Levesque and Marine Cabirou were favorites in an event that they both won last year. Both united under the colors of the Scott DH Factory, they set off last in their respective categories, on a track that they could ride with their eyes closed.

"I expected to have a strong opponent"

The first held her place and won the event ahead of the promising Lisa Bouladou. Laïs Bonnaure takes the third step of the podium. Dylan was pushed to his limits by the young Max Alran. During the qualifying round, the young resident of the Commencal team was one second behind Millavois. During the second run the times were reversed and the Scott DH Factory team rider took second place. Loïc Martin completes the podium. "I showed the Millavois the best possible Dylan, I did two solid rounds, describes Dylan Levesque. We see that youth is growing strong! I expected to have a strong opponent with what he showed in a competition in Australia last month."

The public came in large numbers to the track

However, the pleasure was there on a track that the two Millavois pilots know by heart, well stocked on the other side of the markings. &amp ;quot; It's always cool to ride with everyone around the track, smiled Marine Cabirou after her victory. This n’ rsquo;it's not easy for everyone to get around a world cup and it helps show what downhill mountain biking really is."< /p>

The locals were pushed to the edge of the track by a large crowd. "I'm glad we were able to organize the competition with the CSO, welcomes Dylan Levesque. It was not won given the weather forecasts but we were able to enjoy the week -end at 100% with two fair rounds, in good conditions."
