MONTREAL – A man has been assaulted with a knife on the night of Sunday to Monday in the area of the Old Port in Montreal.
The victim, aged thirty years, was attacked around midnight by three individuals, near the rue de la Commune and place Jacques-Cartier.
The attackers, in black colour it would have inflicted a wound, possibly a laceration to the bottom of the body, said Raphael Bergeron of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
The injured man was transported to the hospital in a state rather stable and his life is not in danger, said the spokesman of the SPVM.
The first information cross-referenced to suggest that the flight would be the motive of this assault weapon.
